What you’ll do:

The Creative Services Account Manager is accountable for planning and allocating resources, preparing budgets as needed, monitoring progress, and keeping stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycle. All of this takes place within the framework of achieving the marketing department’s goals and achieving their vision - aligning projects with business objectives, constructing detailed work plans, managing teams, achieving milestones, and communicating the results to stakeholders. The account manager will also prepare and present updates regularly to relevant management channels, ensuring that our goals are being achieved.

Responsibilities:

·         Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation

·         Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget

·         Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met

·         Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes

·         Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks

·         Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources

·         Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables

·         Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan

·         Performs other duties as assigned.

·         Regular and reliable attendance.


What you’ll need:

Education: Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a marketing-related field.

Experience:

  • 5 years of project/account management experience
  • Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines
  • Proven success working with all levels of management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Experience in developing platforms for internal processes
  • Experience in coaching project team members to strengthen their abilities and skill sets

Certifications: Professional certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 is preferred

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Business Mathematical Skills -- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.
  • Complex Communication -- Frequently communicates complex information and interacts with management. Can present, resolve, and address delicate situations. Can motivate and persuade others.
  • Varied Business Problems -- Problems are varied and complex, requiring analysis or interpretation of the situation. Problems are solved using knowledge and skills, general precedents, and practices.
  • Department Specific Impact -- Decisions impact the management and operations within a department. May contribute to business and operational decisions that affect the department.
  • Functional Independent Judgment -- Provides and sets goals and priorities for functional area. May make recommendations for department policies, practices, and programs. Makes decisions for and/or resolves problems for others.
  • Project Management Planning / Organization -- Handle multiple projects simultaneously including task delegation, project oversight, and resource allocation.

Minimum overnight travel (up to 10%) by land and/or air
