Who we are:

At Lifepoint Health, we provide quality healthcare to rural communities. As a valued member of our team, you will be an integral part of a group working together to elevate Lifepoint's healthcare delivery network. Our network includes 60+ community hospitals, 60+ rehabilitation/behavioral health hospitals, and 250 additional sites of care across the United States. This position will be supporting LBS, which is Lifepoint Business Services - a division with Lifepoint which will support People Services, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Medical Staffing Services and other functions through Oracle, UKG and other enabling technologies and processes.

What you’ll do:

The Director, Master Data Management directs the day-to-day activities of the Master Data Management Teams and collaborates with Functional Team Leads to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and security of data assets. The Director, Master Data Management, defines and maintains the organization’s data architecture, including data models, data flows, and data integration processes.

Responsibilities:

  •        Direct the day-to-day activities of the Master Data Management Teams and collaborate with Functional Team Leads to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and security of data assets.
  •        Establish data governance frameworks, policies, and standards to ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance.
  •        Define and maintain the organization's data architecture, including data models, data flows, and data integration processes.
  •       Implement data quality assessment and improvement processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
  •        Develop and enforce data security and privacy policies to protect sensitive and confidential data.
  •         Establish master data management (MDM) processes and systems to ensure consistency and standardization of critical data elements across the organization.
  •        Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA or CCPA.
  •        Effectively manages the team through workflow and delivery deadlines, anticipating and effectively communicating timelines, risks and/or barriers to leadership and stakeholders.
  •        Facilitates effective communications among all team members and leadership to ensure comprehensive understanding of needs, expectations, and requirements.
  •        Effectively delegates work according to prioritization from leadership, individual skill level, and capacity.
  •        Leads Data Stewards responsible for advanced data modeling and database query activities.
  •        Accountable for testing and validation of work product prior to delivery to stakeholders.
  •        Responsible for efficient and effective work processes of the Data Management team.
  •        Facilitates professional and skillset development of staff-level data.
  •        Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  •        Perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need:

Education: Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in the areas of computer science, information technology, soft-ware engineering, or a related field. Master's Degree (preferred)

Experience:  

  • 9+ years of experience.
  • Experience being part of a shared service organization
  • Must be able to manage a portfolio of work, lead and serve people, set expectations on work delivery, and effectively delegate according to individual skill and capacity.
  • This role must have excellent communication skills [both written and verbal], possess servant leadership abilities, have relationship building skills, portray a professional presence, and possess a proven track record of delivering high quality and actionable results.
