What you’ll do:

As a Director, Workforce Solutions, you will collaborate with the Division leadership to deploy strategies for Lifepoint Health’s hospital operations. Reporting relationship will be a direct line report to the AVP of Productivity Management.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides leadership for staffing, FTE, and productivity management across the Division and individual facilities.
  • Collaborates with the AVP and Division leadership to develop an annual strategic plan for productivity management.
  • Utilizes tools to track and analyze operational efficiency and financial performance within the Division.
  • Implements the strategic plan focusing on staffing, FTE budgeting, and productivity at both group and facility levels.
  • Works with Division and facility leaders to create and implement labor management standards and process improvements.
  • Establishes and manages a team focused on achieving specific productivity goals, ensuring alignment with divisional strategies.
  • Ensures standardization and consistency in productivity management across the Division, maintaining open communication with leadership.
  • Provides training on tools like LaborLytics and general labor management best practices, including data interpretation.
  • Maintains infrastructure for productivity tools to keep data accurate and up-to-date.
  • Manages direct reports in a remote and matrixed environment, balancing group and facility needs.
  • Analyzes and escalates any deviations from labor standards to leadership.
  • Utilizes analytics to drive business decisions and promotes a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Develops best practices for staffing critical clinical and business operations.
  • Adapts strategies based on changing business needs and communicates effectively in a matrixed environment.

 


    What you’ll need:

    EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Management Engineering, Accounting, Business or related field.

    EXPERIENCE: Minimum of seven years of related hospital operations or labor management experience.

    Minimum overnight travel (up to 15%) by land and/or air.
