What you’ll do:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager of Endpoint Management Engineering to lead a team of engineers responsible for supporting and managing Microsoft SCCM/Endpoint Management and Intune platforms. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic thinking to ensure the seamless operation, enhancement, and security of endpoint management services across the organization.

As a manager, you will oversee the development and execution of endpoint management strategies, support escalations, and ensure the team delivers high-quality, efficient, and innovative solutions. This position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including IT Security, Help Desk, and Infrastructure. This position is 100% remote.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership and Management

  •        Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers responsible for SCCM, Endpoint Management, and Intune.
  •        Establish team goals, priorities, and performance metrics to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  •        Provide regular coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities to direct reports.
  •        Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on continuous improvement.

Endpoint Management

  •        Oversee the administration and maintenance of Microsoft SCCM, Intune and Autopilot, ensuring efficient operation and alignment with best practices.
  •        Guide the implementation, configuration, and optimization of endpoint management technologies.
  •        Ensure the deployment and management of applications, operating systems, patches, and security updates across endpoints.
  •        Lead efforts to automate and streamline endpoint management processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational risks.

Strategic Planning

  •        Develop and execute endpoint management roadmaps, ensuring scalability and alignment with business goals.
  •        Collaborate with IT leadership to identify and implement new technologies and enhancements.
  •        Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and regulatory requirements.

Collaboration and Communication

  •        Act as a point of escalation for technical and operational issues related to endpoint management.
  •        Partner with IT Security to implement policies and procedures to protect endpoints from security threats.
  •        Work with Help Desk and Support teams to provide training, tools, and documentation for first-line support.
  •        Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on projects, issues, and performance metrics.

Project Management

  •        Oversee endpoint management-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational priorities.
  •        Manage resource allocation and coordinate with other IT teams for cross-functional projects.

What you’ll need:

Education and Experience

  •        Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  •        5+ years of experience managing Microsoft SCCM, Endpoint Management, and Intune.
  •        3+ years of experience in a leadership or management role with direct reports.

Technical Skills

  •        In-depth knowledge of Microsoft SCCM, Microsoft Intune, and associated technologies.
  •        Familiarity with OSD (Operating System Deployment).
  •        Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell).
  •        Strong understanding of Packaging applications and deployment.

Leadership Skills

  •        Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a technical team.
  •        Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  •        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
