What you’ll do:

The Manager, Technology Support, manages the technical support function including tenant management, workflow management, application security/internal controls and coordination of application testing with functional support teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the technical support function including tenant management, workflow management, application security/internal controls and coordination of application testing with functional support teams.
  • Drive the development and implementation of future IT strategy in conjunction with LBS's business goals and objectives.
  • Engage with business stakeholders and functional support teams to identify IT requirements and develop solutions that meet functional continuous improvement requirements and recommend technology options.
  • Create technical roadmaps for new technologies incorporating AI, Big Data and Cloud technologies.
  • Lead the design and implementation of IT systems and projects in alignment with organizational transformation and project goals, to meet established standards and requirements.
  • Ability to scrutinize the domains of the enterprise’s structure to improve operations and align the business and technology to be transparent.
  • Provide insight in a function or specialism through analysis and knowledge of best practices to solve complex problems, driving thought leadership and innovation.
  • Work with AVP, Application Support and Release Management on the effective management and delivery of complex architecture/solutions while maintaining a focus on quality and risk management and navigating operational and organizational dynamics.
  • Design and develop policies, standards, guidelines, roadmaps, and strategy that affect the design, development, implementation, maintenance, and use of technology in the organization.
  • Proficiency in developing standards and policies that guide the use of IT assets.
  • Knowledge and ability to frame key business and technology trends within the context of the organization’s objectives.
  • Explain technology trends and vendor roadmaps in terms of business impact.
  • Knowledge of and ability to use methods and tools to develop a roadmap for the future state of technology which aligns the architecture and processes with business strategies and objectives.
  • Knowledge of organizational, IT industry leading practice and market relevant policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Ability to introduce innovative ways of organizing, managing, and integrating data to ensure its quality and ability to be used as a distinctive asset to generate a return. Ability to align the data strategy with relevant legislation and business strategies.
  • Contribute to enterprise architecture strategy that enables value and growth for the organization.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


What you’ll need:

Education: Bachelors Degree required, preferably in the areas of Business Architecture, Data Architecture, Application Architecture, Network Architecture, Security Architecture, or equivalent job experience. 

Experience:

  • 8+ years related experience; experience being part of a shared service organization.
  • 7-10 years of experience in Information Technology, Information Security or a related field are required.
  • Experience being part of a shared service organization.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and team building skills.
  • Expertise in cloud computing in the context of enterprise architecture and domain reference models.
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills required.
  • Proven communication and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills - Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage tasks with attention to detail and accuracy. Strong commitment to customer service.
  • Highly motivated and self-directed.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
