What you’ll do:

The Senior Analyst, LBS Physician Enterprise, will support and lead efforts in providing financial and analytical support to the Physicians Services Financial and Operations Team.

Responsibilities:

  •        Manage financial reporting related to the Physician Services financial operations and ensure standardized processes and internal controls are in place and operating effectively. This includes managing data and systems related to financial reporting, budgets, and monthly financial analysis.
  •        Lead the preparation, financial analysis, and presentation of the Physician Services or Shared Services Monthly Operating Reports (MOR), or Monthly Financial Review (MFR) Reports. This includes recording journal entries, preparing account reconciliations and analyzing and explaining variances between actual and expected results.
  •        Partner with the Practice Operations, Revenue Cycle, and the Centralized Billing Office (CBO) Leadership Teams to provide financial support, budgeting assistance, and financial analysis.
  •        Prepare and communicate Physician Enterprise budget directives.
  •        Assist in the preparation of the Physician Services and certain HSC departmental budgets and aid the local teams with the overall budget process to include system enhancements and modifications, testing of the budget system, training, reporting, review, etc.
  •        Support the monthly Physician Practice revenue recognition process and participate in month-end revenue analysis
  •        Train and support the Local Finance teams, Physician Services Accounting, and market leadership on applicable financial systems.
  •        Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and efficiency that will align accrual, allocation, reconciliation and accounting processes    
  •        Support the company’s quarterly review and annual audit processes from both internal and external auditors by providing requested support and explanations to inquiries 
  •        Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  •        Perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need:

Education: Bachelors Degree required, preferably in the areas of Accounting/Finance.

Experience: 3+ years of experience.

Certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.

Licenses: Maintain Active CPA License.
