How you'll contribute 

A Central Sterile Technician who excels in this role:

 

  • Provide inspection, decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of instruments and other patient care equipment in accordance with processing guidelines, AAMI, AORN, TJC, and OSHA requirements.

  • Operate departmental equipment daily according to manufacturer instructions with emphasis on safety.

  •  Provide customer service to all departments with a focus on the patient need. 

  • Process and documents all sterile supplies and equipment daily using chemical, biological and mechanical indicators to verify sterility in accordance with manufacturer instructions and hospital policy

  • Monitor and performs antimicrobial and disinfection solutions testing according to manufacturer instructions and documentation daily.

What we're looking for 
 

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

  •  License: Central Sterile Technician (CSR) certification within 6 months of hire 

  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.

  •  Required Skills: Central Sterile Technician (CSR) certification within 6 months of hire Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Hourly range: $17.81 - $27.00
