UofL Health - Frazier Rehabilitation - Brownsboro is a state-of-the-art, 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced the debilitating effects of a severe injury or illness. Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. We offer customized, individualized rehabilitation tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from a stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. Position Summary

The Education Coordinator is the organization-wide educator. By maintaining competency and knowledge of current standards of practice, trends, and developments in requirements for acute care hospital and all applicable facility-wide healthcare settings, the Education Coordinator designs, develops, plans, and teaches educational programs for the employed, contracted, affiliated, volunteer individuals and others as identified.

Required Skills

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent x Preferred

• Associate's Degree from an accredited professional Registered Nursing Program.

• Bachelor of Science (BSN) Degree from an accredited professional Registered Nursing Program preferred.

• Prior experience as a nurse educator preferred.

• Minimum Five (5) years nursing experience with clinical focus preferred

Education:

• Associate's degree required
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Certifications:

• American Heart Association BLS Provider required

• American Heart Association BLS Instructor preferred

• American Heart Association ACLS Provider preferred

Licenses:

• Registered Nurse licensed to work in the State of Kentucky.
