Position Summary: NNRH is currently seeking a Clerical Specialist for our Materials Management. This is a part-time benefit eligible position.

§  Primary responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

§  Receives incoming materials, supplies, and equipment and compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment.

§  Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages in shipment and notifies appropriate purchasing personnel.

§  Uncrates equipment; delivers items to requesting departments.

§  Ensures that all supplies and equipment received are processed and distributed in a timely manner, as directed on P.O.

§  Maintains established route; transporting, delivering and retrieving materials to offsite clinic areas, airport, bus garage, etc.; including but not limited to biohazardous red-bag trash.

§  Adds hospital tag numbers on equipment to department policy.

§  Maintains files and records of current and potential suppliers, materials, and prices.

§  Fills store requisitions from stock.

§  Ships items after notification from purchasing assistant, manager or group leader in accordance with policy.


Minimum Qualifications:

Qualifications Required: Deliver confidential information to subsidiary business with hospital.  All other duties as assigned.

Skills: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to deliver confidential information to subsidiary business with the hospital.
