PRN Van Driver - Evenings

Carrollton Springs is a behavioral hospital located North of Dallas, TX. The hospital offers inpatient and outpatient mental health and addiction treatment to adults, adolescents and their families. At Carrollton Springs we are dedicated to Changing People’s Lives®

As a Van driver, you will be an important member of our team at Frisco, our off-site partial hospitalization location. Our team drives a “Clinical First” attitude to help fulfill our mission of “Changing People’s Lives®”. As a Van driver, you will be responsible for transporting our patients to and from clinical treatment facilities within our Partial Hospitalization Programs.

  • Supervise and maintain patient safety
  • This position is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of patients from various locations and facilities to the Hospital campus and/or other designated locations. 
  • This position will maintain a daily log of mileage and gasoline usage and submit all gas receipts to the appropriate person(s).
  • Responsible for cleaning the interior of the car on a regular basis, assuring the vehicle is presentable for the transport of patients.
  • Position will also maintain mileage records for the purpose of scheduling routine maintenance.
  • Responsible for ensuring that patients are supervised; safety is maintained at all times; and patients are treated with respect and dignity.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High School diploma
  • Driver’s License with a favorable Motor Vehicle Report
  • Proof of Insurance
  • CPR and CPI Certification within 30 day of employment

Experience:

  • Experience working an inpatient psychiatric or healthcare facility preferred.
  • Previous direct patient care experience with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferred.
