Position Summary:

Evaluates, documents, plans, implements, and monitors speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders under Physicians orders to improve or restore the functional level of their patients.

Training and Continued Education

Opportunities for further education and training are available to our employees. 

Minimum Education

  • Has completed a Master’s degree and has a current VA Speech-Language Pathologist license.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) granted by ASHA preferred.
  • Completes obligatory hospital in-services and continuing education for licensure.

Required Licenses

  • BLS required within 30 days of hire.
