Position Summary:

Functions in collaboration with qualified physicians to provide medical services to Family Care Center customers.

 

Training and Continued Education

Opportunities for further education and training are available to our employees. 

Minimum Education

  • Successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner’s training program.
  • Hold current license as a Nurse Practitioner with the Virginia State Board of Nursing.

 Required Licenses

  • Current NP license required.
  • BLS required.
  • Family Care and Urgent Care providers must obtain DOT Physical Certification within one year of hire. 
  • Must possess a working knowledge of medication use and administration.
