Position Details:
A Duke Lifepoint hospital; blending Duke Health's clinical leadership and safety expertise to help strengthen Lifepoint Health's community hospitals
Full-time, hospital-employed position in an established, community-based traditional practice offering bread-and-butter general surgery
Join a board-certified general surgeon with 20 years of experience, with mentorship available
Experience preferred; new graduates welcome
Clinic schedule: includes two days per week, with three guaranteed OR days
Call: requirement is up to 10 days per month
Patient Volumes: average 20 patients per day in the clinic and three in the hospital
Electronic medical records: Athena in the clinic and Cerner in the hospital
Requirements:
NC Medical License or willing to obtain
BE/BC via ACGME Accredited Residency Program
