ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Receives patients, explains method of procedure and makes sure patient is comfortable.Provides patient services to all ages using imaging modalities-Pediatric and infant experience is beneficial.Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices.Maintains equipment and supplies and organizes work area.Keeps accurate records, helps with scheduling of the ultrasound and keeps patient flow smooth.Assists cardiologist with interventional procedures as ordered.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum EducationGraduate of a Program in Discipline – RequiredBoard eligible for ARDMS RDCS or CCI RCS.ARDMS RDCS or CCI RCS- preferred
Bachelor’s degree - Preferred
Required SkillsCertifications:ARDMS RDCS or CCI RCS required within 3 years of hire.Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.Bachelor’s degree – Preferred
