As part of our Radiology team, you will have the opportunity to perform diagnostic testing in a collaborative environment to aid providers in the diagnosis and/or monitoring of various disease states. Additionally in this role, you will process digital images, assists radiologist with invasive procedures, prepare medication and contrast materials, prepare rooms, equipment, supplies and document examinations in EMR and PACS. You will be asked to provide outstanding customer service to your patients throughout the day, with each individual requiring different needs or services. In this position, you will have a significant impact on the quality care that patients receive at UP Health System - Portage. 


Required Skills:
•    Training and experience in other imaging modalities desirable or willingness to cross train to other modalities.
•    Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
•    Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
•    Demonstrates proficiency in verbal and written communication skills
•    Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external

Position Requirements:
Graduate of AMA Approved School Required
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Registered or Registry Eligibility Fulfilled including CEU’s Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) Required (Available Upon Hire)
Annual Influenza Vaccination or Declination Required

Position Details:
1.0 FTE (full-time, 40 hours per week)
Day Shift
Weekend Rotation

$1,500 Hot Job Referral Bonus Available to Current staff

$3,000 Sign On Bonus Available
