Conemaugh Miners Medical Center is seeking a full-time Maintenance II in Hastings, PA. The Maintenance II will works under the direction of the Manager of Facility Operations (or designee) and is responsible for maintenance of buildings and equipment.  Assists Manager of Facility Operations (or designee) in establishing preventive maintenance schedules.

Essential Responsibilities:

Performs preventive maintenance tasks as directed.

Constant alertness to needed repairs and replacements.

Routinely inspects equipment and buildings.

Subject to emergency call on off-duty hours.

Handles and manipulates tools and equipment.

Complies with building and safety codes.

Confirm operation of boilers as needed.

Has general knowledge of equipment in Facility Operations Department.

Has ability to make minor repairs to equipment and property.

Performs basic carpentry, painting and/or other duties related to this position.

Transports oxygen as needed.

Snow removal and salting of helipad, parking lots and sidewalks.

Assist with regulatory agency inspections as needed.

Performs security assignments when necessary due to workload or schedule.

Complete any required documentation and/or schedules as needed.

Job Qualifications:
Education:

Required: High school graduate or equivalency.

Preferred: One (1) year of training from a formal course of study pertaining to carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and/or building automation system or equivalent experience.

Experience:

Required: One (1) or more years of experience in general commercial maintenance or specialized experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, and/or heating systems.

Preferred: Three (3) or more years of experience in general commercial maintenance or specialized experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, and/or heating systems.
