Inpatient Medical Director

LifePoint Rehabilitation, in partnership with Common Spirit- St. Catherine Hospital, is seeking a dynamic Medical Director to provide clinical leadership for its 10-bed Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit in Garden City, Kansas.

As Medical Director, you will play a critical role in shaping the growth and success of the rehabilitation program while helping patients regain independence and return to their highest level of function.

Qualifications:

1. MD or DO with an active, unrestricted medical license and good standing in the state of practice.

2. Board certified and maintaining certification through a nationally recognized specialty board.

3. Eligible for and in good standing with the hospital medical staff.

4. Demonstrated training and experience in rehabilitation medicine through one of the following:

   1. Completion of a PM&R residency;

   2. Completion of a rehabilitation fellowship; or

   3. At least two years of experience managing inpatient rehabilitation patients as part of a multidisciplinary care team.
