CPP Primary Care is seeking a full-time LPN for CPG East Hills Primary Care in Johnstown, PA. The LPN is responsible for providing nursing care to meet the needs of the patients, assisting medical staff and providing quality care to the patients.  Provides direct patient care ranging from  neonates to geriatrics.

Essential Responsibilities:

Assists medical staff in carrying out plans for care of patients.

Determines nursing care needs of the patient. 

Triage patient calls and communicates with provider patient needs.

Coordinates special activities with the hospital, i.e. direct admissions from the office or any other unique requirements.

Handles patient telephone inquiries. 

Assists physician and mid-level provider in completing prescription renewals electronically.  

Documents in the electronic medical record patient vitals, updates med lists, assists in completing electronic flow sheets and documents

electronically all treatments, injections etc.

Transcribes lab and other medical data to charts, as needed.

Performs special tests, i.e. audiometry, eye tests, and EKG's.

Inventory and order medical supplies, as needed.

Actively participate in quality programs as directed by office supervisor.

Job Qualifications
Education:

Required: Graduate of a state approved program for licensed practical nurses.

Experience:

Preferred: Previous experience in medical office setting.

Certification/Licensure/Registration:

Required: 

Current valid Pennsylvania nursing license.

CPR certification required within 60 days of hire.
