Job Title: Per Diem Medical Assistant
Location: Trios Health - OB/Women's Health
Availability: Weekday coverage, especially Mondays and Thursdays

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Per Diem Medical Assistant to join our team on a flexible basis. Position Overview:
We’re looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to provide support during the week, with an emphasis on availability Mondays and Thursdays. This per diem role offers flexibility while allowing you to contribute to a high-quality healthcare experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and prepare patients for examinations or procedures.
  • Take and record vital signs, patient histories, and relevant health information.
  • Assist healthcare providers during exams and minor procedures.
  • Administer medications or perform lab tests as directed by providers.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and medical equipment.
  • Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Provide exceptional patient care with compassion and professionalism.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical or outpatient setting.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification.
  • Proficiency with EMR systems and basic computer skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Flexibility and reliability to work on an as-needed basis, particularly on Mondays and Thursdays.

This position provides technical nursing care for assigned patients in the office setting. Follows established standards and practices under direction of Physician, Clinic Manager, and/or designated healthcare professional. Work within legal scope of practice and healthcare certification.

Minimum requirements: Must have current Washington LPN Licensure or current active or interim Medical Assistant – Certified WA State certification. May also have Medical Assistant-Registered WA State certification and must obtain MA-C accreditation within six months from employment date. Current AHA HCP (BLS) Card.
