Position Summary:

PACS System Administrator - Provides operational administration and network management of PACS (Picture Archiving and Communications System) servers and workstations for the Market, including system monitoring, storage/user/network management, system security and staff education. 
The PACS Administrator serves as a key onsite IT resource for implementation and support of medical imaging applications at Havasu Regional Medical Center.  Ensures system design, interface functionality, and clinical processes are coordinated and functioning effectively for the market.        

Reports to: Director of Information Technology & Services

FLSA:  exempt  


Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Education
Associate degree in related field required, Bachelor's preferred
Fuji Synapse PACS level 1 certification required within one year from hire
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Minimum Work Experience
At least three years of experience managing PACS system required, voice recognition experience; strong DICOM and modality operation background along with workflow knowledge and assessment abilities required. Previous IT experience and PACS experience in Imaging/hospital setting preferred.
