$25,000.00 or $30,000.00 Sign on bonus

$1,000.00 Housing allowance up to twelve (12) months upon relocation

The PACU Supervisor position Supervises daily staff activities for an assigned area or function.  The Pre-Op/PACU Nurse Supervisor is accountable for all aspects of nursing care delivery and operations of the Preop and Post Anesthesia Care Unit with oversight for standard practices and compliance issues. The Preop/PACU Nurse Supervisor will report directly to the Director of Surgical Services. As a Registered Nurse, the Pre-op/PACU Supervisor is also responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and coordinating patient care from admission to discharge. The Pre-Op/PACU Nurse Supervisor will be expected to collaborate with the OR Supervisor.
The Pre-Op/PACU Nurse Supervisor should have awareness of all requirements for Joint Commission, and other applicable federal, state and local regulatory and/or accrediting agencies. They should be able to promote departmental goals and objectives in accordance with established policies. The position requires the ability to multi-task, enforce accountability and promote professionalism among the teammates that report to them. The Pre-Op/PACU Nurse Supervisor will be responsible for building and developing their team.

The Pre-Op/PACU Supervisor will be expected to step into patient care as patient needs dictate, and to take equitably with the PACU Staff.


Requires current NM RN licensure upon hire, or appropriate compact licensure to start.

Must have current BLS and ACLS upon hire. 

Must obtain PALS/ENPC within six (6) months of hire. 

Must have Associates Degree in Nursing or Bachelor's degree in nursing.

Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in PACU setting.
