At WCCH, our Facilities and Maintenance team plays a vital role in creating a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors. This position requires on-call assignments as needed with ability for a 30 minute response time to hospital grounds upon notification.

How you'll contribute

A Maintenance Mechanic who excels in this role:

  • Performs basic operational duties to include repairs, preventative maintenance, record keeping, and troubleshooting equipment in the general maintenance field.
  • Provides advanced work in specialty areas such as HVAC, plumbing, or electrical. Maintains all refrigeration and air conditioning systems.

What we're looking for - Applicants should have a High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Must have valid driver's license.
  • Graduate of a 2-year college with courses in refrigeration and air conditioning maintenance preferred.
  • HVAC Certification strongly preferred.
  • EPA Universal Certification preferred.
  • Handle with Care training required within 1 year of hire.
  • Previous experience in blue print reading, commericla plumbing, and electrical applications required.
