How you'll contribute

The Materials Management Clerk performs supply inventory and replenishment on nursing units. Processes and delivers all on and off campus department supply orders.

Qualifications and requirements

Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalent
*Years of relevant experience may be substituted for required education.

Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Essential functions:

• Performs the inventory function and replenishes supplies and patient chargeable items for nursing units.

• Enters all issues, patient charges, and lost charges accurately into the system.

• Processes requisitions and delivers supplies to all other on and off campus departments.

• Updates requisition templates and bin labels as needed.

• Delivers special orders as assigned.

• Performs both the physical inventory and cycle counting process.
