Job Summary

 

Performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned area of office. 

Essential Functions 

Under the supervision of physician, nurse practitioner or nurse, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments. 

Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection. Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition. Documents patient care given. 

Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting. Maintains examination areas. 

Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration. 

Review and comply with LifePoint Code of Conduct and all relevant Company and Division policies and procedures. 

Qualifications - External 

 

Job Requirements                                   

Minimum Education 

High School diploma or equivalent required. Graduate of a Program in discipline preferred. 

Required Skills 

Requires critical thinking skill, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS).
