Position Summary

Provides clerical & support for Occupational Medicine Clinic.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ability to meet minimum hospital hiring standards
  • Strong clerical skills, including keyboard and basic computer programs
  • Knowledge of medical terminology desirable
  • Bilingual English/Spanish desirable
  • Good communication skills in dealing with general public on phone and in person.
  • Commitment to confidentiality
  • Willingness to learn drug testing and some back office occupational medicine procedures.

Essential Job Functions

  • Responsible for front office processes to include scheduling patients, insurance verification, workers' compensation claim management
  • Assist with back office responsibilities.
  • Responsible for other office duties.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • The ability to utilize good judgment, demonstrate patience, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
  • The ability to multi-task.
  • The ability to work in a busy and stressful environment.
  • The ability to produce professional documents/forms with attention to detail and accuracy.
