A Medical Lab Technician who excels in this role:

  • Medical Lab Tech Position Summary

  • Performs routine laboratory tests in various sections of the laboratory. Reports to the Director of Laboratory Services.
  • Essential Functions Additional Information
  • Patient Populations Served: Does not directly treat or care for patients.
  • Protected Health Information Accessed: Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record.
  • Exposure: Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present for all employees.
  • Physical Requirements: Frequent sitting, computer/data entry, and instrument handling; occasional standing, walking, and light lifting. Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex.

What we're looking for
Applicants should have a high school diploma. Additional requirements include:

  • Education: Associate's Degree in Science required.

  • License: /Certifications: MLT certification through ASCP or AMT preferred.
