This is a full time (0.8-1.0 status) variable shifts Utility Grounds Keeper in the Security department.

The Utility Grounds Keeper will be essential in making sure staff are able to enter the hospital safely, particularly in the winter months, and assists with moving large items. To maintain an aesthetically pleasing and functionally safe environment where people will want to work, and patients will seek care. Is responsible for maintaining grounds and daily upkeep around the facility, basic utilities, and other duties as assigned. 

PRIMARY (ESSENTIAL) DUTIES

  • Removal of ice, snow, and debris from parking lots and sidewalks. 
  • Landscaping. 
  • Furniture/Office Moves. 
  • Other duties as assigned.  

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. 
  • 1 year working experience in related industry.  
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 
  • Ability to operate a truck, tractor, mower, and other related equipment. 
  • Valid MT Driver’s License. 

WORKING CONDITIONS

Will need to be able to lift, pull, or push 50-100 pounds, climb and us a ladder, work in outdoor/inclement conditions.
