How you'll contribute
A Mobility Technician who excels in this role:
- Assisting clinical staff and members of the interprofessional healthcare team, as assigned, under the direct supervision of clinical staff within inpatient setting.
- Performs delegated activities that include but are not limited to patient mobility, and functional activities, transporting patients to and from treatment areas and a variety of basic clerical functions.
- Assist with equipment storage, and supply procurement, keeping hallways and room egress free of clutter.
- Assist with responding to patient falls.

What we're looking for
Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional requirements include:

American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

One (1) year Patient Care Assistant experience

Nursing assistant work experience in an acute care hospital, long-term acute care hospital or equivalent setting, OR
-
Six (6) months experience as a PT/OT/Rehab Tech OR
-
Nursing student who has completed first clinical rotation.
