Position Summary:

This dynamic position is responsible for assisting the cardiologist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular interventions on adult patients. Candidate must be focused on high quality patient centered care through assessment and management of cardiac patients with good communication and interpersonal skills.  Candidate will be able to scrub, monitor and/or circulate diagnostic and interventional procedures as well as some pre and post care. 

Candidates must be flexible to cover first shift and late days as cath lab and hospital needs demand.  There will be occasional travel to other DLP Cardiac Partners sites as needs require. 


Minimum Education

     Registry or certification in an Allied Health field such as Cardiovascular Technology,  
     Respiratory Therapy, or certificate of completion from approved CVT   
     program required. Without benefit of degree, equivalent on the job training and  
     experience of at least 2 years duration may be acceptable.

 
Required Licensure/Certification: 

     Appropriate certification in any of the above listed fields. 
     Current BLS certification required. 
     State ACLS certification required within thirty (30) days of employment.

 

Minimum Work Experience

Prefer three years of cardiac catheterization experience, cardiac nursing, special procedures, or respiratory therapy with cardiac/intensive care patients.
