At Centerpoint - Versailles, our Medical Surgical Unit team provides compassionate, high-quality inpatient care for patients recovering from illness, injury, and surgical procedures. Our nurses, patient care staff, providers, and interdisciplinary teams work closely together to deliver safe, patient-centered care while supporting positive outcomes and exceptional patient experiences. As a key part of our inpatient services, the Med Surg Unit offers a dynamic environment where teamwork, clinical excellence, and professional growth are highly valued. How you'll contribute
A Nurse Technician who excels in this role:
Under the supervision of an RN, assists in assuring optimal patient care.
Provide basic patient care, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance
Monitor and record vital signs, and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
Assist nurses with procedures, including room setup and basic wound care under supervision
Transport patients and maintain clean, stocked, and organized patient care areas
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and dignity while following infection control protocols

What we're looking for
Applicants should have a High School Diploma (or equivalent). Additional requirements include:
Nursing Assistant Certificate (SRNA/CNA) preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
Handle with Care certification required within 7 days of hire
