Position Summary:

The Medical Staff Coordinator & Contract Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Medical Staff Office and is responsible for the oversight of the Health Center’s contract management program. 

Minimum Qualifications:

EDUCATION

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent required.

EXPERIENCE 

  • Two years of experience in med staff credentialing preferred.
  • Must possess strong verbal ability to be able to speak clearly and convey to and obtain information from individuals at various organizational levels. Must be able to interact positively with physicians and staff.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with proven organizational skills and very little direct supervision, be flexible to adjust to high volume workloads and changes.
  • Medical Staff Coordinator & Contract Analyst has access to confidential information relating to physician credentialing/recredentialing, peer review, patient care issues, and information relating to hospital and medical staff policies and practices. Utmost discretion and integrity are required.

CERTIFICATE/LICENSE

  • Optional - CPCS (Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist) and/or CPMSM (Certified Professional Medical Services Management).
