EDUCATION
- Education: Bachelor Degree with emphasis in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration required.
- Experience: Minimum Three (3) years’ of experience in financial reporting and/or financial planning required. Healthcare experience preferred.
- Certification: CPA or MBA is preferred.
- Other: Bilingual and/or English-Spanish speaking preferred. Ability to work with a culturally diverse population. Ability to work effectively with all levels of management.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/COMPETENCIES
@R=at risk for exposure to blood borne pathogens
- Work closely with all levels of management to provide financial guidance, perspective and training.
- Assists in the preparation and completion of the monthly financial statements.
- Act as Hyperion Financial Manager (HFM) Administrator.
- Completes assigned Ascension Health Hard Close reports.
- Monitor fixed assets including approval process, spending, availability, monthly recording and reporting.
- Prepares monthly bank reconciliations including the investigation and resolution of outstanding/reconciling items.
- Acts as primary point of contact between LHN and banking institutions.
- Coordinates financial planning and budgeting process.
- Prepares and distributes key financial information to aid in operational decision making and external reporting.
- Analyze and investigate actual to budget variances for volumes, revenues and expenses.
- Work in conjunction with management to create business plans/pro formas for existing, new, and proposed services.
- Aid in capital project development, capital spending prioritization and capital monitoring.
- Assist in hospital audit.
- Prepares IRS Forms 990 and 990T.
- Prepares and facilitates Lourdes Counseling Center outpatient funding and program reporting.
