Applies principles of radiation protection. Provides patient services using Imaging modalities as prescribed by a physician. Performs diagnostic medical radiographic and other related imaging procedures, produces images for interpretation by a physician. Evaluates radiographs for technical quality and exercises professional judgment in the performance of procedures. Provides patient care essential to radiographic procedures.

Salary Range: $25.69 - $35.96

Essential Functions 

  •  Perform Radiographic Procedures.
  • Perform all paperwork associated with the Diagnostic Imaging department.
  • Follow all radiology policies and procedures.
  • Exemplify Team Dynamics.
  • Demonstrate a knowledge and willingness to perform continuous Quality Improvement Functions.
  • Maintain a high standard of excellence and professionalism in job responsibilities whether pleasant or unpleasant.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the population and specific needs of patients served.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Associates Degree from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology preferred
  • Preferred one year or more experience             
  • Registered Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or Registry eligible, Washington State Radiologic Technologist required
  • ARRT Mammography Certification and/or Bone Density preferred
  • Bilingual and/or English-Spanish speaking preferred. Ability to work with culturally diverse population
