Essential Functions

  • Responsible to deliver therapeutic services to designated patients and family members;
  • Provides specialized services for individuals suffering from substance use.
  •  A critical attribute required of this position is exceptional interpersonal customer services consisting of an outgoing positive attitude, warm friendly joyful demeanor, and the utmost care and reverence for our guests, patients, families, customers and colleagues.

Qualifications and requirements

  • Required Education: Must be enrolled in an approved school and gaining the experience required to receive a Substance Use Disorder
  •     Professional credential. 
  • Preferred Education: AA in Social Services or equivalent (90 quarter/60 semester college credits) or Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Health
  •     Sciences.
  • Population Specifics: Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the population of patients served.
  • Required Experience: Minimum two (2) years’ of supervised experience-providing services for persons with substance use disorders.
  • Preferred Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of Criminal Justice experience preferred.
  • Required Certification:  Substance Use Disorder Professional-Trainee as approved by Washington State Department of Health.           
  • Preferred Certification: Current BLS.
