How you will contribute
A Patient Access Specialist who excels in this role:
- Verifies insurance benefits, eligibility, and obtains insurance authorizations when necessary.
- Collects deposits, co-pays, and deductibles.
- Educates patients and families regarding patient rights, advanced directives, and distributes patient guides.
- Commits to demonstrating the following behaviors that show that the healthcare team at Twin County Regional Healthcare CARES about our patients/families/physicians and each other.

What we are looking for: Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Associate's degree preferred.
- Computer proficiency required.
- Medical terminology experience preferred.
- Billing and/or collection experience preferred.
- Excellent customer service and telephone skills are a must.
