At Centerpoint - Winchester, our Medical Surgical Unit team provides compassionate, high-quality care for patients recovering from illness, injury, and surgical procedures. As a busy inpatient unit, our nurses, patient care staff, providers, and interdisciplinary care teams work closely together to deliver safe, patient-centered care while supporting positive outcomes and a seamless patient experience. How you'll contribute

A Patient Care Tech who excels in this role:

  • Under the supervision of an RN, performs basic patient care activities.

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility 

  • Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes in patient condition to the nursing team 

  • Support nurses with basic patient care tasks and clinical procedures as directed 

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment 

  • Provide compassionate patient interaction while ensuring comfort and addressing basic needs

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a High School Diploma (or equivalent). Additional Certifications include:

  • SRNA or EMT preferred.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire
  • Handle with Care certification within 30 days of hire and annually
