As the RN Clinical Informatics Analyst, you will serve as the essential bridge between clinical operations and information systems, ensuring the effective implementation, optimization, and support of Meditech applications across the organization. You will partner with providers, clinical leadership, and IT teams to improve workflows, deliver EMR training, resolve system issues, and leverage data‑driven insights to enhance operational efficiency and patient care outcomes.

How you'll contribute

As the Clinical Informatics Analyst, you will excel in this role by:

  • Assisting clinicians in workflow discussions, patient care strategy, and Health Support Center (HSC) standards to better support and adopt technology.
  • Developing and/or providing education and support to clinical staff physicians and clinical staff on the EMR and related applications.
  • Serving as the key liaison between clinical departments, providers, and Information Systems teams to ensure seamless integration and optimization of Meditech applications.
  • Delivering EMR training and ongoing support to employed and locum providers, driving user adoption, efficiency, and best‑practice utilization.
  • Collaborating with leadership, end users, and vendors to identify, document, troubleshoot, and resolve application and workflow issues.
  • Analyzing clinical and operational workflows to recommend process improvements that enhance system performance, user satisfaction, and patient care outcomes.
  • Participating in the implementation of certified EMR applications and interfaces.  Under the direction of the HSC where applicable, coordinates, facilitates, and evaluates clinician/physician functional testing before and after upgrades and improvements.
  • Developing and maintaining reports and data solutions that provide actionable insights for departmental decision‑making and operational effectiveness.
  • Participating in EMR testing, including enhancements, upgrades, and new functionality validation to ensure system readiness for production.
  • Assisting in the development of rollout plans for new EMR features, including training plans, testing plans, and go‑live support.
  • Providing responsive technical support and building strong cross‑functional relationships to promote continuous improvement and effective communication.

What we're looking for

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Bachelor's degree in a clinical field preferred.
  • 5+ years of clinical healthcare experience, demonstrating a strong understanding of patient care workflows and operational processes.
  • Proven EMR experience (Meditech preferred, but not required), including system functionality, workflow optimization, and end‑user support.
  • Strong knowledge of data analysis, data management, systems evaluation, and performance improvement tools.
  • In‑depth understanding of hospital information systems and the integration of clinical applications across healthcare environments.
  • Exceptional organizational, project management, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
