UC Davis Rehabilitation Hospital an inpatient rehabilitation hospital programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. Offering customized, intense rehabilitation tailored to the individual needs of those recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.

How you'll contribute 

As a Rehabilitation Technician, assists Occupational and Physical Therapists (OTR/RPT) with patient care tasks to support patients in achieving optimal rehabilitation goals. Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing with the rehabilitation team, monitors patient reactions to treatment, and follows instructions accurately. Regularly lifts and carries equipment and supplies up to 50 lbs. Performs additional duties as assigned to ensure smooth operation of the therapy department.

What we're looking for

• High School Diploma or equivalent 
• 6-12 months relevant experience strongly recommended in a rehab setting 
• CPR certification (when required) 
• Willing to participate in on-the-job training after initial orientation
