Nestled in the San Pedro River Valley 75 miles southeast of Tucson, Sierra Vista serves as the main commercial, cultural, and recreational hub of Cochise County and offers spectacular mountain views and year-round temperate climate. Outdoor sightseeing and recreational activities are abundant in the area with a variety of state parks, championship golf courses, tennis courts, and over 20 miles of multi-use paths within the city.

Develops goals and objectives for the unit in conjunction divisional and organizational plans. Submits timely quarterly reports summarizing unit activities and results. Includes patient satisfaction results, financial variances, staff turnover, hiring trends, unit committee results, quality improvement initiatives, etc. Supervises staff of the department and works with Human Resources to develop recruitment strategies. Continuously assesses staff satisfaction and develops improvement plans. Promotes teamwork within the unit and throughout the organization. Annually assists in development of capital and operating budget. Ensures unit performs within the budget. Prepares variance reports quarterly. Maintains productivity within agreed upon targets. Ensures effective/efficient unit operations; makes judgments as necessary. Ensures physician satisfaction. Coordinates development/revision of policies, procedures, etc. to ensure standard of care. Identifies opportunities for improvement in key processes on the unit and/or within patient services and develops plans to improve. Involves staff and Case Managers in improvement initiative. Ensures compliance with all regulatory bodies (i.e. JCAHO, IDPH, etc.). Requires current ARRT Certification and AZ CRT or ARDMS
