Located in the beautiful high desert of southeastern Arizona, Canyon Vista Medical Center proudly calls Sierra Vista, Arizona home. Nestled in the San Pedro River Valley 75 miles southeast of Tucson, Sierra Vista serves as the main commercial, cultural, and recreational hub of Cochise County and offers spectacular mountain views and year-round temperate climate.

Identifies and evaluates barriers to the access of services. Develops, coordinates and recommends policy and/or procedure change. Communicates effectively with Director and provides timely feedback when required. Assists Director with staff and team leader performance evaluations. Organizes, coordinates and directs activities in the Ultrasound modality. Responsible for the scheduling and completion of the annual competency checklists. Engages, advises, and assists staff as required, according to established performance standards. Ensures appropriate level of inventory and availability of required equipment. Performs tasks assigned by Director within time period requested. Orders medical and office supplies as needed for the Ultrasound modality. Oversees scheduling of staff to minimize overtime and ensure appropriate department coverage, areas of concern directed to department Director. Consults with Director on appropriate responses to potential problem areas in Ultrasound. Provides diagnostic imaging care and assists the Director in the leadership of the Diagnostic Imaging Department. Performs all ultrasound procedures/exams on patients of all ages for the purpose of diagnosis of anatomic and physiologic disorders

Position Requirements:

Complies with legal, hospital and departmental policies, procedures and position requirements. High school diploma or equivalent required. Graduation/completion of a program in Ultrasound sonography required. Certification with ARMDS preferred within 6 months of hire. Must obtain the following certifications within 90 days of hire; CPR.

***$10,000.00 Sign On Bonus and relocation assistance with a minimum two years Ultrasound experience. Two year commitment is required.  Former CVMC employees who left within a year are not eligible for sign on bonus and relocation***
