Accurately bills all third party payers for all claims.  (Excluding Medicare, Black Lung and Tricare)  within standard of 24 hours after final bill date.  Edits and corrects billing information, reviews charges for accuracy of reduce rebills and payment delays.  Obtains missing or incomplete information to ensure all required information submitted.  Works all billing denials and rebills as necessary.  Accurately documents billing status.


Minimum EducationHigh school graduate or equivalent.
Minimum Work Experience• At least one year of experience in a office billing Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance payors such as HMOs, PPOs, etc
Required SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
