We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Medical Scheduler Supervisor to lead our scheduling team and oversee the daily operations of appointment scheduling within our healthcare facility.  The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical scheduling, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding patient care.  You will play a key role in optimizing scheduling processes, ensuring efficient workflow, and enhancing to overall patient experience. 


Minimum Education• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or a related field is preferred.
Minimum Work Experience2 years minimum experience in medical scheduling, with experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a healthcare setting preferred.
Required SkillsSupervise a team of medical schedulers, providing direction, training, and support to ensure efficient appointment scheduling and high-quality customer service.
Oversee the scheduling of patient appointments, ensuring optimal utilization of department schedules and adherence to clinic protocols and guidelines.
Identify opportunities for improving scheduling processes and workflows, implementing changes that enhance efficiency, reduce appointment wait times, and minimize patient no-shows.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Monitor team performance, conduct regular evaluations and provide feedback to team members. Develop and implement training programs to improve staff knowledge and skills.
Address complex patient inquiries and concerns regarding scheduling, appointments, and services, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
Work closely with healthcare providers, office management, and other departments to coordinate schedules and ensure timely and effective patient care.
Ensure accurate and up-to-date patient information is maintained in the electronic health record (EHR) system and other related systems and generate reports as needed for management.
Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
