Liberty Rehabilitation Hospital is a state-of-the-art, 36-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced the debilitating effects of severe injury or illness.

Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. We offer customized, individualized rehabilitation tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from a stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.

Job Functions

• Performs patient care responsibilities considering needs specific to the standard of care for patient's age
• Notifies appropriate licensed staff when patient complains of pain
• Prepares patients for meals
• Answer patient call lights and anticipate needs
• Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors
• Transports patients to and from various departments in the hospital
• Assist in the preparation of admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Assists licensed staff with treatment procedures
• Make rounds with the oncoming shift to ensure the unit is left in good condition
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Current state certification as a Nursing Assistant
• CPR/BCLS Certification
• Minimum six months of relative experience preferred
