How you'll contribute
A Supply Chain Technician who excels in this role:
Responsible for stocking and maintaining supplies across hospital departments using computer-assisted tools and standard inventory practices to support efficient patient care operations.
- Performs periodic cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory; adjusts inventory records as needed.
- Stocks units with office and medical supplies; prepares requisitions to maintain par levels.
- Receives shipments, logs receipts, enters data into the inventory system, delivers items to departments or other facilities, and reports/documents errors or damages to management.
- Answers the telephone, receiving dock, and walk-up window professionally; routes calls/messages appropriately.
- Completes clerical/computer tasks that support patient care delivery.
- Processes outgoing mail.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens may be present.

What we're looking for
An ideal candidate for this position will have critical thinking skills, exercise decisive judgment, and be able to work with minimal supervision. They must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
High school diploma is preferred.
Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple computer systems.
Effective English communication (read, write, speak, and understand) is required.
Ability to complete the Skills Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire.
