The Pharmacy Department is empowered, team-oriented, and clearly focused on safe medication use as the practice priority. Open hours are Mon-Fri 0700-2000 and Sat-Sun 0700-1800, with varying shifts and flexibility to foster work-life balance.

How you will contribute

A Pharmacy Med Rec/Technician who excels in this role:

Improves prescribing safety by compiling correct, current medication lists for patients admitted to the hospital.

Optimizes the medication reconciliation process for providers.

Decreases medication errors by alleviating incomplete or inaccurate mediation history information.

Updates and clarifies drug allergy information for the patient's electronic health record.

maintains other standard capabilities and functions of a pharmacy technician including preparing, charging, repackaging, delivering, outdating, ordering, and receiving medications under the supervision of the Pharmacist.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and a NCBOP Pharmacy Technician registration is required.
