Position Summary:

Responsible for stocking and maintaining supplies across hospital departments using computer-assisted tools and standard inventory practices to support efficient patient care operations. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department. Responsibilities include:

  • Performs periodic cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory; adjusts inventory records as needed.

  • Stocks units with office and medical supplies; prepares requisitions to maintain par levels.

  • Receives shipments, logs receipts, enters data into the inventory system, delivers items to departments or other facilities, and reports/documents errors or damages to management.

  • Answers the telephone, receiving dock, and walk-up window professionally; routes calls/messages appropriately.

  • Completes clerical/computer tasks that support patient care delivery.

  • Processes outgoing mail.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma preferred.
