The Villa of Suffield Meadows is an assisted living facility located in the New Baltimore area of Warrenton, Virginia.

The Maintenance Mechanic provides basic operational duties to include performing repairs, preventative maintenance, record keeping, and troubleshooting while utilizing a variety of skills associated with the general maintenance field. 

  • Performs routine maintenance, general and emergency repairs, in resident apartments and community areas. Schedules preventative maintenance for HVAC and other necessary systems.
  • Performs safety and operational tests on critical utility systems as mandated by regulatory agencies or hospital policies. This would include but is not limited to: backflow preventions, water chemistry, alarms, steam traps, microwaves, electrical leakage tests, and emergency generators. Performs monthly generator tests.
  • Provides prompt response to resident maintenance work orders. Provides other routine assistance such as moving furniture, changing light fixtures, and other maintenance needs that arise.

Minimum Education
Required: High school diploma or equivalent

Required Skills
Required: Must be able to meet Fauquier Health driver's insurance eligibility requirements.

Minimum Work Experience
Preferred: 2 years of facility maintenance experience
