What you will do in this role

  • Outreach to clients in active substance abuse in the community in which they live.
  • Engage and build relationship with clients over time via face-to face, phone, and electronic messaging and be available in a client’s moment(s) of need.
  • Capitalize on motivation for change often precipitated by a crisis, this includes working with the local overdose response teams.
  • Quickly secure viable treatment options for a client, which means navigating the often-burdensome processes for treatment availability and admission requirements/insurance coverage.
  • This can also include transporting a client to a facility.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or related field preferred, combination of education and professional experience may be acceptable
  • Valid driver’s license and a favorable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), along with proof of insurance when using own auto.
  • Previous experience in business development at psychiatric healthcare facility preferred
