Schedule Options:

          Full-time

          Work Schedule - Variable shifts available:  Call us to discuss

Choose to be hired for one of two schedules 

                      Days/evenings……

                  7 days on 7 days off 3rd shift.  

Position Summary:

Coordinates and provides for the pharmaceutical care of patients through dispensing, distribution, and clinical pharmacy services. 

·        Reviews, interprets, and verifies physician orders.

·    Evaluate the appropriateness of drug selection.

·       Evaluate for order completeness.

·        Performs pharmacokinetic dosing

·        Identifies, prevents, and resolves potential or actual drug-related problems.

·    Review medication orders for the fulfillment of medication-related quality measures and antibiotic stewardship guidelines

·        Works as part of an interdisciplinary team to manage drug therapy

·        Provides patient, clinical staff, and physician education.

·        Documents all clinical interventions.

·        Technician supervision

·        Verifies accuracy of technician medication-related filling tasks.

·        Maintains adequate knowledge of equipment, automation systems, and computer software.

 

Minimum Education

BS Pharm degree

Required Skills


Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. . Must be able to multitask while maintaining focus in a demanding environment.
