JOB SUMMARY

 Provides mentorship training to CNA's to ensure their highest levels of competency in the care of patients. Trains CNA's and other staff in the use of Point Click Care EHR. Assists patients with restorative care based on therapy plan of care. Assists patient with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to patients and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.  Appropriately communicates changes in patient's clinical condition to the RN/LPN.  Works with all staff to provide quality patient care.
Develops and executes Activity programs for the residents of the center under the supervision of the Activity Director.

 


Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalent. Must hold a Certified Nursing Certificate and met those education requirement required of the State of Tennessee within 120 days of being in this position.
Minimum Work Experience
Previous hospital experience with acceptable references preferred. Must pass the pre-employment test for nursing assistant.

AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
Required Skills
Licenses
Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant for State of Tennessee within 120 days of being in this position. Completed restorative aide training and successfully demonstrated competencies.
